The workspace
One window that holds the whole job, laid out the way you work.
Integrated terminal
PowerShell, CMD, WSL and Bash, in tabs, opening wherever you already are. Full colour, clickable links, and search through scrollback. Drop a file on it to paste the path. Split it off to the side or along the bottom — wherever it belongs for what you are doing.
Split panes and docking
Split horizontally or vertically and keep nesting. Every pane holds its own tabs and its own location, and tabs — or files — drag freely between them. Build a two-pane copy setup, or a four-way layout with a terminal in the corner, and it stays that way.
Session restore
Panes, tabs, directories, scroll positions and view settings all come back. Restarting costs you nothing.
Bookmarks
Keep the handful of directories you open every day one click away, in the sidebar and in the command palette.
Working with files
The parts you touch a hundred times a day, made quick and reversible.
Preview and edit inline
Code, images, video, audio, PDFs, 3D models, fonts, spreadsheets and archives render right where you are. Text files switch into a full editor in place, with syntax highlighting, search and undo, so a quick fix never means opening another app.
Fast search
A native index built straight from the filesystem, so results arrive as you type. Match however suits the moment — fuzzy, plain substring, glob patterns or full regex — and scope it to the folder you are in, a specific drive, or everywhere at once.
Space Analyzer
An interactive map of any drive, sized by weight and coloured by file type. Spot the folder responsible at a glance, drill down into it, and delete from inside the map.
Undo and redo
File operations join a history you can step back through. Change your mind about a bulk rename or a move into the wrong folder and take it back.
Operations you can watch
Long copies, moves and extractions report progress, throughput and what they are working on right now. Conflicts stop and ask rather than guessing, and everything that happened stays in a notification history you can go back to.
Archives in place
Browse into common archive formats and extract what you need without a separate tool.
View modes
Switch layout, sorting, grouping and zoom per folder. Set a photo directory to large icons and a source tree to details, and neither forgets.

Native git
Repositories are recognised on sight. Changed files are marked as you browse, and opening one shows a real side-by-side or inline diff you can edit directly. Stage, unstage and walk back through history without switching to another client.
A better task manager
See what is running and how hard it is working, which services are up, what launches with Windows, and what the event log has been complaining about — with more context than the built-in tool gives you, and AI on hand to explain entries that mean nothing on their own.
Network connections
Save a connection once and it behaves like any other location — same tabs, same previews, same drag and drop, same search where the server supports it.
Cloud folders
Synced provider folders are detected on their own and grouped in the sidebar, with per-file sync state shown inline so you can tell what is local and what is still in the cloud.

Start from the built-in dark and light themes or build your own. Density, fonts, sidebar contents, status bar, what each pane shows — most of it is yours to set.

Rebind anything, resolve conflicts as you go, and drive the whole application from the keyboard if that is how you work.

An agent in the same panes
Rather than reporting back a summary, the agent works through the same explorer and terminal you do, so you can see what it touched. Anything destructive or system-level stops and waits for your approval.
Bring your own model
Requests go straight from your machine to the provider — nothing routes through us, and we never see your keys or your conversations. Credentials are encrypted locally by Windows.
Extend the agent
Bring in your own tooling through Model Context Protocol, and pass larger multi-step work to background agents that report back when they are done.
